Targeted at health consumers aged 65 years and over, but available to all community stakeholders, education sessions can facilitate enhanced healthy ageing knowledge, which equip the community to identify, evaluate and act on age-related issues.

Healthy ageing education programs have been proven to improve education, lifestyle, and health outcomes for older people. Geriatric Care Australia (GCA) addresses this issue by delivering a comprehensive education programs to improve health literacy and outcomes for older Australians.
Supporting Clinical Staff
GCA also provides Clinical Staff Education Sessions to Residential Aged Care Facilities and GPs. This allows continuing professional development to local healthcare professionals and aims to improve clinical confidence and strengthen community relationships with the goal of facilitating multidisciplinary community care for patients.
