James Britton

James Britton is the CEO of Geriatric Care Australia (GCA), a purpose-driven healthcare organisation advancing digitally enabled, multidisciplinary models of care to improve access and outcomes for older Australians. With executive leadership experience across Australia, Asia, and the Americas, James brings a global perspective to the design and implementation of scalable healthcare solutions that bridge the gap between metro and remote access to care, and between acute and chronic models of care.

​James is a strong advocate for outcomes-based, value-driven healthcare models that improve quality, reduce avoidable hospitalisations, and better align incentives across the system. Under his leadership, GCA delivers integrated geriatrician, GP, nursing, and virtual care services across rural and metropolitan regions. He is passionate about building healthcare systems that are collaborative, future-focused, and grounded in equity of access.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering, an Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. He has also completed a Healthcare Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
