Dr Michael Wang
Geriatrician
Dr Wang obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and went on to complete specialist physician training at St George, Sutherland and Liverpool Hospitals. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine in 2018. He currently works as a Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine at the St George Hospital, Kogarah NSW. Dr Wang currently leads the geriatric rapid assessment unit and orthogeriatric services at St George Hospital. He has a keen interest in community geriatric medicine, cognitive impairment, preventative medicine, healthy aging, polypharmacy, frailty in the elderly and osteoporosis. Recently he has also been developing an interest in rehabilitation medicine.Â

Dr Wang speaks English and Mandarin and is committed to ensuring patients and families are informed clearly about their care and condition. He enjoys mentoring medical students and junior medical officers in giving them guidance towards their goals. Â
