Dr Aaron Johnson

Dr Aaron Johnson is a Specialist Geriatrician whose commitment to aged care grew from the love for his grandmother. The relationship that he shared with his own grandmother means that he understands the value that connection to family, friends and community has for the wellbeing of an older person. He emphasises the importance of a holistic approach to the people that he cares for.

Dr Johnson obtained his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (with honours class I) from Western Sydney University, and he has ten years of experience working in healthcare. He completed his specialist physician training at numerous hospitals, including Prince of Wales Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital. He has knowledge and expertise across all fields of geriatric medicine and has a particular interest in cognitive wellbeing and delirium.
